WHAT IS A BUSINESS COACH?
Business Coaching is when an external and objective advisor, guide and motivator, keeps you focused and holds you accountable. This is like having access to an experienced partner and mentor in your business, whilst you retain the ownership and profits.
Coaching is not consulting, we do not tell you what to do, and we don’t do the work for you.
The skill of the Business Coach lies in asking the right probing and often difficult and challenging questions, that will force you to rethink and re-assess your yourself, your business and strategies.
The focus is on finding solutions, confronting and overcoming challenges, enabling you to constantly and consistently keep moving forwards.
This approach enables you to gain different insights and perspectives, thereby exploring different options and optimal solutions to the business challenges that you face.

OUR APPROACH TO BUSINESS COACHING
We provide a very personalised Business Coaching service to Business Owners like you, who have a strong passion and desire to build, grow, and develop your
Start-up , Small ,or Medium Business.
Business Education also has it’s role, but we have intentionally separated this from our Business Coaching. In doing so we move away from a template and tool approach to Coaching so that we can focus on the heart of your business, being you. Our focus is on your unique business challenges and frustrations.
We want to understand your dreams and aspirations for your business, what keeps you awake at night, and what is holding you back. Each coaching session becomes a process of collaboration and creativity, as we explore options and solutions that you can implement and apply in your business.
In our coaching sessions with you, you also benefit from our over 30 years of managing our own businesses, Business Consulting and Business Coaching.
We have a practical , down-to-earth, and hands-on approach to guiding you to solutions, outlining plans and actions, and applying accountability to ensure that things get done.
Coaching sessions will either be via a Zoom or a In Person meeting
In each session we review:
- Progress on your personal roadmap of business improvement
- Progress and challenges encountered on work that has been previously agreed
- The previous period’s issues, problem areas, and frustrations
And we will also:
- Review and celebrate successes and wins, looking to build onto these
- Explore new options and solutions
- Agree on the plan and actions for the period ahead
Part of our role is to act as a sounding board, whilst still challenging your current thinking. Creating different perspectives enables you to think critically, and re-asses. This clarifies the thinking and helps discover the optimal solution.
This is about improving how you and your business works and supporting and driving you to achieve better results, and continuous improvements.

What happens when I submit my contact information?
We will get in touch with you and set up a quick call to address your immediate questions and any concerns. If you are comfortable after this, we can then progress to a more detailed conversation about what you would want to achieve, and a realistic conversation about whether we can assist you, and if this program is a good fit for you. Only after this process, would it make sense for you to make any decisions and commitments to any next steps.
We are “OK” with an outcome where you evaluate this, and decide that this is not the right solution, or timing, for you and your business.
How can you teach me to run my business better that I already do?
We could never do that, and for three primary reasons.
(1) You have built your business around you, and you are the critical success factor in your business.
(2) You know the micro detail of your business better than anyone else, and we could never replace that.
(3) It is highly likely that you have very specific technical knowledge and experience in your industry / business sector, that we simply do not possess.
It is however, never our objective to teach you how to run your business. The objective is to help you to tap into more of what has gotten you this far, and with that potential to achieve more. We will always look to add more value by sharing solutions and insights that we have gained from over 30 years in coaching and consulting, and from seeing solutions that our other clients have effectively implemented.
Does Business Coaching work for every Business Owner, and every business?

Without exception every client reports having greater clarity of thinking, better perspective on solutions, business insight, and confidence in their ability to achieve more. These are soft measures of success, but they have immeasurable value, especially when it comes to sleeping better at night and being confident about what to do next.

Will you be able to assist me with business challenges specific to my business?
We are acutely aware that each Business Owner, in their respective Business will have some unique challenges .This program allows us the flexibility to identify and agree on your unique challenges. Typically, you are looking to solve a problem, and find a better result or different outcome in a specific area of your business. We use coaching as our approach to resolving your specific challenges.
What financial commitments do I need to make when signing up?
We want to make this a low risk decision for you, and therefore our agreement is that you simply pay for the month in advance, and we have a one calendar month notice period. There are no long term contracts that “lock you in”, and the principle is very simple: If you are getting value and achieving your goals, or solving problems, it makes sense to continue. If you are not seeing the value, or not making progress, then we agree to end the agreement, and you look for a better alternative. You are in control.
